Four steps to learning the Bible Basics in one day!

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
By Matthew Del Nevo
My Catholic parents sent me to a state school, which in England had a Church of England culture. Brother Bill's
Seven 'must know' bible facts

At the same time, the Word of God in scripture retains a central role: it is not Revelation itself, but a record of God's saving words and deeds in history.

Archaeology of the Word
By Teresa Pirola
Excavation of a biblical text is like the work of an archaeologist digging into the ground. Clues on the '‘surface' of the text direct the reader to a spot to 'dig'. The examples below are taken from the Akedah, the Torah portion that tells the story of the sacrifice of Isaac in Genesis 22:1-19.
